Kathy Kniss was named one of Pasadena’s “Top 40 Under 40″ in 2009. Her primary role as a public relations marketer is as a buzz builder for new products, industry breakthroughs, and corporate activity. High-profile companies she’s represented include NewPage Corp., North America’s leading manufacturer of coated paper; Ecover, worldwide manufacturers of ecological soaps and detergents; Mintek Digital, makers of Consumer Reports-preferred digital AV entertainment devices; Alacer Corp., marketers of the popular energy drink mix Emergen-C; 4Kids Entertainment, producers of Yu-Gi-Oh! and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; and the Toyota Prius.
Kathy is a graduate of California State University of Long Beach and an active member of the Public Relations Society of America. She enjoys guest lecturing at college campuses in and around Los Angeles and New York. Recently, she was asked to contribute her expertise to the university textbook Marketing Public Relations by Gaetan T. Giannini.
